The lessons covered the basics and the introduction as we expected, which was very helpful in understanding what Python allows us to do.
It was great because all our questions were answered immediately, and we also received help with some specific issues we were struggling with.
The greatest thing was that the classes were always conducted using code examples, which allowed us to understand not only how different functions work but also the syntax of how they are actually written.
We were also shown some program examples where we could see those functions in action.
Finally, we were instructed in good programming behaviour, which is not something that is usually taught in online courses!

Having David tutor me this year really helped build my confidence in Chemistry and Biology.
He went at a good pace while explaining the topics and said it in a way which allowed me to understand completely. He would send through links of questions and helpful notes which we had looked at so I was able to refer to them while doing my own study at home.
David was easy to talk to and was always willing to answer all questions I had. I found it particularly helpful that I was able to have a few extra tutoring sessions around exam time, to help with any extra things I was stuck on.

Just wanted to let you know, that Reuben got his practice maths exam back last week, and he got Excellent. There was only three of them in the class that achieved this! So the tutoring is paying off :) He had his real exam yesterday, and he thinks he did ok with that as welll. Will let you know when the results are back.
